Jesus described the Kingdom as a place where “the blind see, the lame walk, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor have the Good news brought to them.” Over and over he included people, in his family, at his meals, in his circle of friends. All felt welcome, at home. We’ll look at how the healing and feeding stories of the Gospel play out in our lives and the ways we extend them to others.
Spirit Center and the Monastery of St. Gertrude present three retreats based on the monastery’s mission statement. Each retreat explores a core value of the Monastery of St. Gertrude mission are applicable in all settings for individuals, families, churches, workplaces, and any other place where two or more are gathered. The retreats stand alone; participation in one does not require participation in the others.
